We were beginning our unit of study before spring break and we will be working on our biographies for a few more weeks. We are still in the immersion stage of our study. But I have collected texts that we are using.

Recommended by Crystal Weathers

This book depicted the life of Harriet Tubman through poetry and shifting from day and night showing how she traveled at night and worked by the day. The language was beautiful and vivid with lots of imagery.  I would recommend this book especially for those lower children who need the visuals.
